I have gotten a lot of comments about how cute Coco looked in all of the photos. Believe me, you didn't get the first photo I took each day :). I thought I would clue you in on what we really look like on any given day.

Dearest Amy and Joe,
I am so glad that things went well in Texas and that you have returned home safe and sound.
Life doesn't always turn out like we plan it. Although time does not heal all wounds you will, in time, learn to cope. You have already taken one important step, reaching out for support and encouragement from family, friends, and others who will at least on some level understand. Use our strength, learn from our journeys, and we will do our best to be an encouragement you.
We learn that our children, despite diagnosis, still have gifts and much to share with us and the world. Even a smile and a touch can mean SO MUCH to many whom the world would consider "unlovable".
I look forward to keeping up with you all and maybe, just maybe, the nonsense that is my life will bring a smile to your face as well.
